Robo Spark
Hello!
We're an FLL (First Lego League) Robotics Team called Robo Spark! Our goal is to educate people on what to do before, during and after a Natural Disaster. The Topic of 2013 was called Natures Fury. From September 2013 to January 2014, we researched and programmed our robot (Sparky) using a special Computer Science program called NXT. We've been creating, improving, and editing our blog since December 2013.
After talking to five local experts in the field of Natural Disasters, we found out that apathy and unpreparedness are HUGE factors in determining whether you will safe in an EMERGENCY! And that is where Spark Preparedness wants to help.
Did you know that only about 40% of Americans are prepared for a disaster? Are you one of them?
No one wants to be in a situation where they feel lost and unsure especially when there's chaos around them. We want people to know what to do so that when something happens they can step up and save lives.
We believe that one person truly can change the world.
Our team is supportive of each other in their ideas, successes and failures. We pay attention to each other and try new ideas. No one is left out and everyone fits in.
Feel free to leave suggestions, thanks and tips in our blog and contact section!!
